Express Teddies and Sawdust ‘n’ Stitches Ltd understand the concerns of our customers and the need to be able to shop online safely and securely. That is why we have made sure your order is 100% secure.

Our checkout system uses a secure connection (SSL). Once this connection is established between your computer and our secure server, the information sent between the computers is securely encrypted and therefore cannot be viewed by a third party. SSL encryption is active in all areas where customer information is requested. You can check to see that you have entered an SSL-active area by looking on the bottom of your screen. If you see an unbroken key or a closed lock you will know that SSL technology is in place and ready to encrypt your information.

You can also check by looking at the URL line of your browser. When you are in an SSL-active area, the first letters of our website address will change from "http:" to "https:" (the 's' stands for 'secure').

When you send your online order via the Express Teddies website to Sawdust ‘n’ Stitches, your information is transmitted across the Internet in an encrypted (scrambled) form. The information is not decrypted until it is safely in our hands and your order is ready to process.

If you still prefer not to use our secure connection you can place your order with Express Teddies over the phone by calling our shop, Sawdust ‘n’ Stitches on (44) 01229 46 76 76. We can also accept cheques (in GBP) but this can slow down the order and delivery service so please phone us first to discuss your options

All information taken by Express Teddies and Sawdust ‘n’ Stitches Ltd regarding your order is used with complete confidentiality. We will not disclose any information to anyone inquiring about any order unless you are the sender, and then you may check information regarding your own order. We will even send an Express Teddy anonymously if you require.

Express Teddies and Sawdust ‘n’ Stitches Ltd collect email addresses, postal addresses and phone numbers during the process of placing an order. We only retain this information for the purpose of delivering the order, checking errors and other quality control procedures that may be required to ensure we deliver the best service possible.

We do not sell or trade any of the information we collect, nor do we condone any trade of personal information for marketing purposes and as a result we will not purchase any information (mailing lists etc) for marketing purposes or otherwise.
